Motus Flood Remembrance
#1
Hello Friends
if folks still have some energy to give to the Flood-iversary, this is happening.
i love Motus, and just received this email.

Ten years ago, the skies over Boulder County opened up to unleash a torrent of rain. The ensuing floods caused unprecedented damage, altered landscapes, and changed lives forever. Yet, amid the chaos and devastation, we witnessed extraordinary acts of bravery, resilience, and community spirit that defined Boulder County's strength. And we learned about things not working in our community support systems, or working inequitably, so we were more prepared for the future.
As we mark the 10th anniversary of the 2013 floods, the Longmont Museum and Cultural Center and Motus Theater invite you to join us on a journey of remembrance, reflection, and reconnection.
This special evening will see your memories, however heartrending, hopeful or even humorous, brought to life through the art of playback improvisational theater. Our talented playback artists are eager to hear reflections about your flood experiences and artistically enact them on the spot through movement, music, and storytelling.
Join us for this FREE community storytelling event.
