FOOD PANTRY TONIGHT!  MONDAY OCTOBER 23,  6:00 - 7:00PM
TONIGHT'S PANTRY IS HUGE!
PLACE IN LINE LOTTERY TONIGHT!  We are going to try doing a lottery tonight to determine your place in line. Just trying to mix it up a bit and give everyone an even chance to get to the front of the line.  We have noticed that people are putting their shopping bags down in front of the garage doors with a rock on them to hold their place in line, sometimes up to an hour and a half before the pantry opens!  The reason we do the later hours is so that the people who work at jobs outside the home will have a chance to get to the pantry in time to enjoy the abundance of what we bring in every week.  When you bring your bags early and leave them, it negates any chance for the people who can't get here before six. So, from now on no bags to hold your place.  If you have any ideas, especially really fun ideas on how to make this thing work please let us know.  You can talk with the distributors, leave a suggestion in the donation box (hopefully along with a donation) etc. And now, here's a preview of what we have tonight!

We have milk, whole milk yogurt, and non-dairy milk, cheese, no eggs to speak of, a ton of prepared foods (like shrimp cocktail, family size dinners, flatbread pizzas) and cut up fruit, lots of greens, and salad mixes, avocados, asparagus, bell peppers, potatoes, onion, carrots, cucumbers, green onions, some salad dressings, olives, oranges, apples, pineapples, strawberries, grapes, breads, pastries, meat, seafood, roast chickens, crackers, cereal, RAMEN, snacks, candy, baking supplies, vitamins, chips, drinks, drinks, and more drinks.  Really, there is something for everyone! I almost forgot, we have Eggos too!

Please come and enjoy our abundance and spend some time with your neighbors.  Don't forget to tuck some cash in the
donation box too Wink
