Hi Kate. I have a dutch oven given to me for Christmas by a sweet Mormon family I used to occasionally stay with about sixty years ago. You are welcome to borrow it if you'd like to try one before investing in one. It's the old fashioned kind with short legs and the lipped top for coals. For a real challenge, you might try baking some biscuits over coals on a campfire. There is nothing quite like popping the lid on a pan of perfectly browned dombleydoughs in the great outdoors.
