Hey Laura, and anyone else having issues.
Sorry you're having trouble.
First thing be sure that you're checking the email that you registered with I have seen a few people confuse two different accounts and not see their mail.
More likely check your settings in User Control Panel which is up at the top left the green "User CP" button upper left corner of your screen.
Look for the settings there on the left side:"Edit Options" and then you see the screen below. (Scroll down)
You should have "Instant Email Notification" turned on and then the next setting should be set to "Subscribe to all new threads and posts'
Also you should have a look at this video Different way to do the same thing.
