A friend to all, former Jamestown resident for 11 years, Carrie Cavanaugh-Keyek died very quickly following a cold and pneumonia, which apparently turned into Strep Toxic Shock Syndrome. She died in ICU on Feb 6 at the age of 58. She leaves her devoted husband David Keyek, and their two children Liam and Maggie. They were our next door neighbors (8 Main St) for their time here, and were friends to many in town. Carrie taught at Foothill Elementary. She loved her family, life, and the outdoors. We send our deepest condolences to her family. Not fair. Private ceremony is planned.
