What we recommend, and it always works, is that you open a can of cat food and leave it at the bottom of the tree. Works every time, no risk of putting a ladder in a tree. I guarantee that you'll never see a cat skeleton in a tree. They get hungry, they come down.
Hey, O'B
The owners of said cat employed the resources of a arborist last time with climbing gear to rescue said cat that evidently had been in the tree overnight. I walked out to find 3 people in my yard and inquired WTF was going on and was informed that they were rescuing a cat, no one knocked on my door and asked for permission, or bothered to explain the issue, hey, who am I, just the property owner and maybe subject to liability issues should said tree climber get injured on my property.
Gotta go, the dogs up on Porphry View are barking their asses off, on and off now for the last hour, wouldn't want to miss out on the entertainment.
Hoping these folks can find a shred of decency and get some help for their dogs, sounds like they've been locked in the house all day.
