I like the birds in my yard and my resident rabbit.
Looks like I'm going to have to purchase a live-trap and take it to an animal shelter, maybe the one in Greeley.
One of the most prominent authors in America today, Jonathan Franzen wrote a  great, great novel "Freedom". He is a big time conservationist and talks in the novel about the predation of cats, a non-indigenous species in North America, on birds in North America. I just googled it; 2.3 BILLION birds a year. Not the cats fault. But their guardians.   But heck, you should read the novel, its a great read.

I choose to keep my cat, Mr. Tuxedo inside. He's SO ferocious, if released outside, he would kill lots of birds. And some bobcats & coyotes.  Seriously though, I remember reading that a Boulder County Open Space ranger commenting" Letting your cats out in the mtns. is like putting an expiration date on them'.  Our last cat gotten taken;  so Mr. Tux  is an indoor cat.
