LOTTA things happening

Ever since I took over The Merc, for 15 straight years, people have told me, “Do. You know what you should do? Make breakfast for dinner!” And I always tell them, NO!- that’s for when you’re at home and you’re tired and you didn’t go grocery shopping, it’s not for restaurants, come on, we’re trying to be a restaurant!
Well we’re not trying anymore! We’ve always been more like your friends’ mom’s house, why fight it? This THURSDAY the band is called HOT BREAKFAST CLUB. So we’re getting in the flow. They’ll play jazzy swing music. We’ll cook you hot breakfast, we’ll stop pretending to be a real restaurant. It’ll be fun. Come get your Steak n Eggs, Crab Cake Benedicts, Pulled Pork Biscuits with Chorizo Gravy, Fried Chicken n Waffles and some Crazy French Toasts.

WEDNESDAY IS OPEN MIC- And the Annual SOUP EXCHANGE
Bring Soup in Quart containers and trade for more soup! Fill your freezer for winter. 5pm (As many as you bring, you can trade, please bring an ingredient list)
Grab a burger and a beer while you’re at it. Or sing a song.

FRIDAY- DAVID LAWRENCE AND THE SPOONFUL are SO FUN. David brings a unique blend of finger-picking blues, Roots-Americana, soulful vocals, and his style of Django-inspired jazz guitar
Always a swingin good time.
Date Night is a fun night- There are wine specials, shareable appetizers, entrees, Chef Jessica’s incredible cakes.

Saturday is our first Maker Bazaar 4-7 followed by DJ The Sundance Kid 7-9!
We have beautiful area Artisans displaying and selling their super cool creations. We will have live music, sandwiches for sale made on Kinship Bread, Psychic Leeza Lee, FREE tea, FREE champagne cocktails, FREE conversation with strangers if you make it happen.

Sunday- The main thing that saves the world is love and brunch. Come join us Sundays 10-2 where the champagne and hollandaise are flowing.
xoxo
