FWIW, the county came and helped us eradicate Japanese Knotweed and no pesticides were used. The town has the ability to utilize the county when it deems appropriate, or rely on its volunteers when a better solution. Identification and eradication are the only way to stop invasives. Thanks Megan for arranging a field day with folks who can identify the invasives and to the folks who will volunteer to pull them. As an incorporated town, we have to invite outside help in.
