Our bill went from $4.44/day one year ago to $7.99/day this year....almost 50% more kilowatt hours per day! Anyone else have a huge jump?

Hi.  I had a similar occurence with my bill last month, it being almost double what it had been in previous years for the same billing period.  I haven't received my latest bill yet, but if something similar happens I'm going to start simmering. With retirement I have become ultra frugal in my usage.
