This was night of October 11. We live north of Ward / south of Overland-peak to peak.

Synchronistically my family flew out of town to NC earlier this day.

Our cat hid well upstairs. And our friend Kevin yelled at the bears. They only managed to claw up a bag of walnut cat liter.


We are now locking the sliding doors

Have not seen them back around

Hey Lauren ~ 

Great footage of a Mama Bear teaching her Cubs bad manners!  Wonder what it was that scared them away? (i heard a loud crash)
Otherwise, she might have camped out at your place for a few days or until the food ran out. 

Oct 11 was the beginning of a two week run of Bear activity up that way.
Hope damage wasn't too bad.  

We still got a few weeks to go before they take their "long winter nap"!
Clean and Locked always works!
