Just a Heads-UP ! I was informed of a small group (4 +/-) of mature Moose, males & females, lunching in the Big Meadow above Blue Jay near the
Christmas Tree Trail entrance! Give Moose lots of space, as they can be aggressive, and in deep snow, you cannot out-run them
. This is kind of a new
occurrence, sighting a group of Moose, near JT. Lots of single female, or Mom & Calf sightings through the last few years.
Keep your Pup safe too (on the leash). Moose have been killing Wolves for centuries.
