Jamestown Egg Hunt! We need your help!

It's Spring! You know what that means....time for the ANNUAL Jamestown Easter Egg Hunt! Friends of Elysian Park, we could use your help over the next few weeks. Can you please help monitor for poop in the park? If you can bring an extra bag when walking your own dogs, it really goes a long way to making a better event for the kids, and helps keep our park clean for everyone.

The details:
When: Saturday, April 8
11AM SHARP
Elysian Park (Big Park)

Egg Hunt is for ages 5th grade and under, older kids are welcome and encouraged to help hide eggs and watch the fun!
Parents/friends should come to hide eggs and treats between 10-10:30, we recommend hiding 18 or more eggs for each child participating.  Please only wrapped candy this year, nothing loose like jelly beans or hard boiled eggs. The Ants really liked open candy last year, making for bad surprises!

The smallest kids (approximately aged 1-3--use your best judgement!), hunt just in the playground area, so hiding small toys in that area is preferred over candy for that age group.
Dress for the weather! There's always a chance it will be cold and muddy.

Can't wait to see you there!

Has there ever been an ‘adult’ egg hunt? They can be really fun (think gift certificates to local retailers, coupons for IOU community service, etc) & go towards JAM or another local group.
