Hey community - my wife just got a full hip replacement yesterday, and is doing fine - but I can't help thinking something like this might be helpful: https://www.amazon.com/OasisSpace-Stand-...let-Safety  - we probably will only need it short term, thought I would see if anyone might have one to lend for a while?

Betty - thanks for the recommendation, we borrowed her walker from the Elks lodge but I'm not sure they had something like this, I'll get the American Legion a try!

For my knee replacement, I used handles screwed into cabinets and door frames in strategic places - and a cabinet frame near the toidy got one.

If the American legion in Longmont doesn't have what you need, the American legion post 10 in boulder may have it, and loan out for as long as you need, no cost. They are across hwy36 from Lee hill drive, if you need I can call and ask if they have one, they used to have several.

Thanks Jason!  Turns out the Elks Lodge (who also lends these out no charge) just had exactly what I was looking for donated. So I think we’re covered, and if anyone needs a walker etc in the future they have them.
