Bar-K Trash Services in Bar-K?

Hello - My name is Lawren and my husband and I just moved into Bar-K Ranch. Looking to set up Trash Services. Who do you guys use? 

Also looking for 1-2 week dumpster rental - what companies have you used to bring a dumpster?

Hey, Lawren! Welcome to the neighborhood. We have been using Western for our trash and I know a lot of families use them, too. We've never gotten a dumpster, but I believe they offer those as well.

For recycling, we use Green Girl recycling as they are local and live in the Bar-K.

We also use Western. You have options with them. You can pay a monthly fee, get a trash barrel and they will empty it every Friday. We decided to save some money and bought trash bags and recycle bags from them that they will also pick up on Fridays. Since there is just 2 of us we can get by with putting garbage out no more often than every other week. Also if you go to Ned every once in awhile you can drop off recyclables for free. I wish I had known that and wouldn’t have bought so many recycling bags. I checked into a dumpster from them to dispose of some construction materials and they quoted me somewhat over $700 total. If you do decide to get one let me know and MAYBE we can share some costs.

Hi Lawren, We also use Westrn but buy the ornge bags from them so we put the garbage out when an orange bag is full. You then pay per bag rather than a committment for every week. We bring all our recycling to Longmont or Boulder ourselves. BUt if you want curbside pick up, contact Bridget Turner at Green Girl Recycling. She lives in the Bar K.
