RIP Sylvia

Yesterday the world lost a beautiful soul. Sylvia Welner passed away in her sleep. RIP mommy?

Her funeral is this Wednesday 12/8 at 1 PM at Mount Sinai, Hollywood Hills, at 5950 Forest Lawn Dr., Los Angeles.

Sylvia and Jerry were my summertime neighbors years when they made their annual trek from Long Beach CA to Jamestown. Being with them and at the Merc was like being with kids in a candy store. Neither could contain their enthusiasm at being in town. They never tired of hearing the stories about townsfolk and the latest goings on. I came to know Sylvia as a gentle soul with a big heart and I’m sorry to learn of her passing.

I was fortunate to spend time with Sylvia and Jerry when they were here in October. I’ll treasure those last moments. Rest In Peace, Sylvia.
