G4 geomagnetic storm the next few days

NOAA down below predicts a severe G4 solar storm. The last one was 2005. It could affect radio and satellite communications, and might take out the power if on the stronger end. It starts tomorrow "midday" and persists through Sunday May 12.

Got some decent photos .. This one is just from a cell phone camera -- I have a bunch more with a "real" camera that I'm processing..

Wow - I saw some photos from North of Longmont and they were mostly that amazing fuschia color - looks like Cheyenne's cell phone captured more of the details of the rays - amazing!
