Bear sightings

When I pulled into my driveway ( 15-15th St) at 6:35 this morning there was a juvenile black bear behind my van. When I got out my car and clapped my hands it ambled away up the hill crossed the gully heading toward Joe Reichert's house.

I'm wondering if it was the same one that I spotted this morning, it was a little after the time you reported.

Hey Guys ~

Thanks for reporting.  I just walked the Mesa/Main loop and did not see Our Bear. 
Bears are so stealthy, and if you run one off, normally they just run and hide til you
go away.  Then they get back to the business of finding food.  

I would imagine it is the same Black Juvenile that has been seen frequently around
JT & The-K.  There are some good pictuers of this guy on the BB (Sal's posts)

Large bear scat on Ward St this AM.  Looks like the berry pickings are good.

Baby bear - dark brown, size of a medium sized dog, crossed the road up from Little Jim just at the edge of the Sapp's house. I looked for Mama Bear, but she wasn't showing herself. Baby was just climbing up the hill in the scrub, not moving towards any houses. Looked healthy & happy. Save Our Bears!
