Whoa! I saw a bobcat! 40+ years living in the foothills and finally a bobcat! I’ve seen mountain lion, bear, porcupine, ermine, fox, deer, elk, moose, free range cows, Albert’s squirrels, beaver, lizards, snakes, spiders, birds galore, feral children, Jimbillies and now-wow, bobcat! Not here in JT, over on Lee Hill at the top of the long shadey down hill run, yesterday at about 8:30 am. So flipping cool!

Love seeing them. I think I was about 35 before I saw the first one, now I have seen at least a half dozen or so. I watched one hunt on a the side of a river one morning for about 15 minutes, it wandered off, then cam back through a half hour or so later going the opposite direction. I was able to check out a Lynx once that my dogs chased up a tree, they are really neat too, the size of the paws and the ears are really dramatic on a Lynx. Very, very cool seeing them.
