I think there is a goodly share of Larry McMurtry admirers in town so wanted to pass this on. I dug out my copy of his "WALTER BENJAMIN AT THE DAIRY QUEEN" this morning and started rereading it. It's pretty much all about reading, writing, and story-telling and is full of pithy observations and musings on those subjects. While I don't always agree with his assessments, I have a great deal of respect for his work and think anyone can glean some useful and thought provoking grist for the idea-mill. Give it a try. I think you'll find it dang good. SvH
