Bar-K Cinnamon Bear in the Hood
#1
Heads up... If you thought it was too early up here...it isn't.  Medium sized cinnamon bear with a white muzzle just climbed into the backyard.  Shook the whole house getting over the fence.  We're at 161 Ridge.

We heard what must have been a bear visit last night, maybe before Gary's sighting.
Our bear-proof garbage can was pulled about 30 feet, but the bear (?) did not get it open.  Smile

That sounds like a cool looking Bear.  White muzzle unusual.  Anybody get a photo please share!

Last year I kept hearing about a gorgeous "Blonde" Bear in and around JT.  Never got to see it.

Maybe this season.

Thanks for the INTEL!

It all happened quite fast and my instinct was to haze it.  It took off like a bat out of hell.  Sounded like a car crash as it climbed the opposing fence.  If I was to be more accurate I would call its muzzle tan.  It was different than the cinnamon bear that I got a picture of last year.  This one's muzzle was less defined and more on the brown side.

This explains what my dogs have been barking at! Heart
Good thing they are keeping the bear away, I accidentally left a bag of trash outside last night. Cool
It had not been disturbed this morning . Whew! Smile
It was a stinky one and I put it outside yesterday, and forgot to bring it into the mud room last night. Undecided
