Looking to Learn Pottery

Hi Jimtowners!

I am interested in taking a beginner friendly pottery class somewhere local (JT, Boulder, Longmont). 

I am completely new to clay but the medium has always fascinated me. 

Please let me know if you or anyone you know teaches either solo or group classes. 

Excited to start a new summer hobby!

I happened to see your email on the BB and took a look at the Boulder Potters' Guild. They have Summer classes, but say on the page below that they fill up quickly.

Hi Maggie,

Rose took classes at the guild and really enjoyed them. Also, the Boulder rec center catalog used to offer pottery classes too.

Hi Maggie-

Boulder Ground Works! This use to be the boulder pointery lab and what’s in the recreation guide mentioned above.

The guild has great classes but far less and they fill in like the 1st minute reg opens. Joy Boston usually teaches one class in the summer. Dying to take her class!

Ground works has multiple locations and styles of clay classes.
I have been taking wheel classes through them for 2 years now and love it.
