Great news!!
Thanks to the talented Emma H, our beloved sand box dragon is getting new paints! The Dragon will be restored to its former glory.
Caution: Dragon Rehab means we all stay off it for a full week (til May 5)!! The layers of paint DEFINITELY NEED TO CURE! Please walk over to ELYSIAN PARK and see the progress (more tomorrow), and explain to “rehab” to the kiddos.
Please pass the word. ? That exterior paint that will last 10+ years is expensive.
The boardwalk, bleachers, picnic tables are almost complete. Looking spiffy! Next we will need some help to get the new wood chips and tons of sand spread out. Dates in May tbd. We’ll post.
Sand will go to playground, volleyball, and in front of pavilion. Arne will get it mostly there but volunteers are needed to spread it. Same with the wood chips in the playground!
