We said farewell to one of the best dogs ever yesterday. From her humble beginnings as a goat tender to the wise old matriarch of Jamestown, Jessie Jane was one of kind. What's there really to say but that she was deeply loved, always kind, and loved her humans. Pizza nights won't be the same without her sniffing around the Merc, and hopefully those tempting to speed through town will remember that she might be standing in the middle of the road and slow down. Share a treat with your favorite pup in her name, preferably liver. RIP Jessie.
