SnakeBytes - Good reads?

This morning I just finished entertaining and informative book about the life of Harry Smith, the man who assembled "The Anthology of American Folk Music" which was a heavy influence on a goodly number of prominent musicians including Bob Dylan, The New Lost City Ramblers, Ian and Sylvia, and many others.  He always considered himself and anthropologist but was also an experimental film maker, raconteur, painter, and student of the arcane, and above all, eccentric savant. It's called "COSMIC SCHOLAR" by John Szwed. I highly recommend it to the chronically jaded. SvH
