FOOD PANTRY TONIGHT! MONDAY JANUARY 22 FROM 5:30 - 6:30PM
DOUBLE BONUS TONIGHT! IT'S NOT BELOW ZERO AND IT'S A BIG PANTRY!
Today we brought in a total of 2,502 lbs of food! That's a lot of food people!
We pick up from Costco (Saturdays), Community Food Share, Whole Foods, and Ideal Market (Mondays).
We really think there is something for everyone tonight! We have lots of greens both packaged and loose, potatoes, yams, onions, cucumbers,
onions, squash, tomatoes, carrots, apples, oranges both navel and juice, pineapples, berries, bananas, grapes, bell peppers. Burt Loupee brought us some grapefruit, meyers lemons, and mandarin oranges from his home in Tucson (all organic)! We have lots of cut up fruit, prepared salads, and other prepared foods, olives, cheese, and then some more cheese, burritos, milk, a few eggs, pastries, bagels, buns, muffins, drinks, snacks, chips, misc. weird stuff, whole frozen chickens, and other types of meat, some crustables (those strange PB&J crustless sandwiches), lots of canned goods too. And an entire box of dog toys!
And as always, we can sure use some donations! If only to buy a supply of Ibuprofen for our aching backs! Slip some money in the donation box tonight and you might just hear some bells ringing!
Love you lots,
The Pantry Volunteers
