No Oper Burning - High Wind Warning Monday 5/6 until Wednesday 5/8

Good afternoon, we have another high wind event coming through for the higher elevations this time over the next few days. As such:

The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning for zone 215 in Boulder County effective 0300 tomorrow thru 0600 Tuesday.  There will be no open burning allowed in the county beginning tomorrow, Monday the 6th at 0001 until 0001 Wednesday the 8th.  The open burn system has been updated to reflect these restrictions.   Will update further as/if conditions change.

TUESDAY...

* WHAT...West winds 35 to 45 mph with gusts up to 75 mph expected.

* WHERE...The Northern Front Range Foothills, and The Southern Front
  Range Foothills.

* WHEN...From 3 AM Monday to 6 AM MDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines.
  Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
