Hey, everyone—
Grayson and Tina here at 300 Ridge Road. I imagine many of you saw lots of cop cars on the road today or perhaps read the news report in the Daily Camera. Hopefully to provide some clarity or at least information, here’s this: Two Boulder deputies woke us up at 3:15 a.m. They asked us where our property line started and told us that a body had been found on our side of the fence. The deputy asked us some questions and told us they’d keep a spotlight on the body until the sun came up. When that happened, many more deputies and the coroner arrived. They took the body away around 10:30 a.m. We’re still not sure what happened. The first detectives stated, somewhat plainly, it was a homicide; the second set of detectives stated they did not know if that was true or what the cause of death was and that people were being questioned, but not yet detained. The second detectives also said they did not think there was reason for the community to be worried at this time.
I don’t know if this is helpful or not, but I suppose everyone is confused, so that’s what we’ve got. We’re certainly anxious and a bit shaken, but we’ll be OK. We’ll update as best we can if and when we know more, and feel free to email or message us any questions. I’m at gcurrin@gmail.com.
