Is it time to propose water meters on homes as a long-term fix?
There are vastly different volumes of water usage for different residents but prices are all about the same.
This is not conducive to responsible water usage in all its shapes and sizes.
Seems we are repeatedly running into this issue and blindly increasing the rate of water treatment is an environmentally and financially irresponsible way to mitigate.
Even if a leak is occurring prior to a home-meter, meters allow rapid determination of whether a leak is pre-home or in-home.
