What better thing to plan when it’s single digits than the garden!
This spring, I’m trying to move my garden from South Boulder to up here off Balarat.
Would love any and all input as to what has worked for folks in terms of-
Keeping all safe and out of the garden:bear, deer etc. I’ve considered building this- https://youtu.be/HENPoGXIICc but would love to hear what’s worked or hasn’t for others.
Growing season successes
Beds, cold frames, greenhouse?

Thanks in advance!

The enclosure you referenced would not help with those. You need small wire with wooden or steel flooring. Those little suckers will find any little hole you have and squeeze through it.  I ended up putting in a greenhouse and that has worked so far. Since you will be dealing with a myriad of factors (like frosts, hail, critters, sun burning), if I were you, I would buy bigger plant starts and put them straight in the ground rather than trying to start from seed. If you are on Facebook, there are a number of very helpful gardening groups. Feel free to email me with questions BeasleyR9 at gmail
