My daughter, Katie Farmer, hit a deer that jumped out in front of her car a week ago, and the insurance company has told her the car was totaled (repair costs exceed its value), so she is in need of another car. The insurance check isn't going to cover a decent used car through a dealership, so she's hoping to find an individual with a car for sale that will work for her. She doesn't need 4WD, and a small, gas-efficient vehicle is what she is hoping to find. Thanks, Julia -luckily, she was not injured! The "totaling" of the car was only because the repairs will exceed the value of the car, which is a shame, because it's been a great car for her. The insurance company will cut her a check for the value they say it's worth, but she's not finding any good deals on used cars and she can't afford a car loan.
