Wonderful work! Teaching, getting kids out of their urban cocoon, out of the social media focus and back to their human roots within nature can take them from lost souls to whole human beings.

I'll always appreciate the two, week-long outdoor school adventures I had in high school.  More, I was fortunate to have grown up here and to have advanced through the scouting program and to become a naturalist in many fields.

What Calwood and the Balarat schools have done over the years is so valuable.
