Ward water pipe?

Does anyone have any intel on what work is being done on the Ward water pipe and when it might be flowing again?! Thanks in advance!

I wouldn't use it at this point, and I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't open.  Many people in the area (including myself) received a letter from BOCO Public Health saying wells in the area may be contaminated with uranium, rradium and gross alpha particles.  I've found out the letters have gone to folks from at least Ward south of us (this includes the Bar K) up to Lyons.  Any of us who have wells have to get specialilzed tests to see if our water is drinkable.  I'm pretty sure that would include the tap in Ward, and perhaps the one in Allenspark, as well.  I can't believe I haven't heard anything about this on the news.

A house near the Ward spring is getting connected to Ward water. That is why the water is temporarily off and construction there.

The source of the Ward water pipe is a spring, not a well. I don't know if it would be affected, but it's a question worth asking because that water has been wonderful over the years.
