Need some help , will pay
#1
Hi neighbors , I need to get some help with changing water filters and putting pressure into the pressure tank .
The well pump keeps going on all the time and I'm afraid it will burn out.
There may be another problem with the pressure tank, but I'd like to do the regular maintenance and see if that fixes the problem before calling more professional help that I can't afford . The filters haven't been changed in a about a year and a half, and the pressure tank hasn't been pressurized since then either. I've tried to get Pete to come do it for weeks or months and he's not responding to texts. If you have his number, maybe you can ask him to come do it to prevent a bigger problem with the pump. Last time I had John's well service here a couple years ago, they fixed a lot of things including putting a new pump in , before finally sending someone capable that fixed the first thing I thought it was. They wanted to dig up my yard and put all new pipes in from the well to the pump and I refused and said to put a new foot valve in first before I do anything else, and of course that was the problem all along. I asked what they did with my old pump because I wanted to keep it as a spare and they said they already sold it. I'm trying to avoid them sending an apprentice up first, fixing everything but the problem and then finally sending a capable well guy to fix the problem. I'll pay for someone to change the filters and add pressure to see if that fixes it. Does anyone know if the guy that worked for them a couple years ago and lived in Jamestown is still around? Do you have his number? He's who finally fixed the issue a couple years ago and I'd pay him to come change filters and add pressure and check it out. Thanks.
Also needing to hire help to deal with downed trees and cut them up for firewood. I heard Henry Manns does that but I don't have his number. If you have his number , please send it. thanks! My number is nine five six, thirty three twenty eight.

Thank you. I probably can't afford a certified master Arborist right now, and most of the trees are already on the ground. There are a couple standing dead trees that I don't anticipate will be a problem to take down. I mainly need help cutting up the downed trees and cutting slash off. I'd do it myself if I could start the chainsaw and keep it running . There may be need for a bigger chainsaw for the bigger tree that's down. If I get any money to pay an expert, I'll call your husband . I was hoping to pay around $20 an hour , maybe $25 an hour , to have someone assist in getting the chainsaw going and showing my 20 yo son how to use it and have him do a lot of the work , hailing cut tree lengths to some designated pile in the yard, making a slash pile that's accessible to the chipper , etc. Ideally, I'd like to borrow or rent a splitter and have plenty of firewood for next winter. I went through 3 cords this winter and I probably have at least that much uncut , in trees laying on the ground .

Thanks TankDog, I responded but don't see my response, so making another one here . Its unlikely I can afford to pay an ISA Board Certified Master Arborist with all those impressive credentials . If I ever have a tricky tree that needs to come down , I might. Most of them are on the ground already , the standing dead don't look tricky .  I was looking to pay someone a reasonable fee to help me get the chainsaw started , keep it going .and show my 20 yo son how to use it, and have him do most of the moving around of cut tree lengths and slash. I'm hoping to borrow or rent a chipper to make firewood out if it all . If I come into some money, I'll call your husband! I appreciate your response, he may be over qualified for this job.  I'm a student and I'm almost out of money from my last student loan.
